Troops Arrest Suspected Criminal in Plateau Community

Troops of Operation Enduring Peace have arrested a suspected criminal during a security operation in Jos East Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Security sources disclosed that the arrest was made on Saturday following a report of a suspicious individual allegedly loitering around Nubationg Village.
According to the sources, troops of Sector 1, Sub-Sector 12, Operation Enduring Peace responded to the report and moved to the area to verify the information.
The sources said the troops subsequently apprehended the suspect, identified as Mamuda Idris, 35, during the operation.
The suspect is currently in custody while security agencies carry out further investigations to determine his activities and any possible links to criminal acts in the area.
Security officials reiterated their commitment to maintaining peace and security across Plateau State and urged residents to continue providing timely and credible information to security agencies.
They noted that community support remains vital to ongoing efforts aimed at preventing crime and enhancing public safety.
