Troops arrest suspected terrorist logistics supplier, recover medical supplies in Borno

Troops of 29 Task Force Brigade, in collaboration with the Forest Guards and Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), have arrested a suspected terrorist collaborator and logistics supplier in Borno State.
The suspect was apprehended at about 3:45 p.m. on Sept. 5, 2026, in Benisheik Town, Kaga Local Government Area, following intelligence on suspected terrorist logistics activities.
During the operation, the troops recovered a large quantity of medical supplies from the suspect.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect claimed to have been sent by one Mr Goni Comd, identified as a suspected terrorist leader, to procure the medical items for the group.
The suspect and recovered items are in military custody for further investigation and necessary action.
