Troops of the Nigerian Army’s Civilian Intervention Battalion VIII have arrested two suspects for allegedly conveying suspected illegally refined petroleum products in Rivers State.

Sources said the suspects were apprehended at about 5:00 p.m. on April 14 while on routine patrol at Ebocha in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area.

According to the source, the suspects were found in possession of substances suspected to be dual-purpose kerosene (DPK) and automotive gas oil (AGO), estimated at about 100 litres and 150 litres respectively.
