Troops arrested suspected kidnappers in Wukari LGA in Taraba

Troops of Sector 3 Operation WHIRL STROKE (OPWS) have arrested two suspected kidnappers following intelligence in Chinkai Community in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State.
Sources told Zagazola Makama that the operation began on March 11 at about 9:00 a.m. when troops moved to Arufu Village, apprehending a suspect who initially denied involvement but later confessed to participating in kidnapping incidents earlier in February.
A follow-up investigation led to the arrest of an accomplice at Chinkai Village.
Recovered items included two mobile phones, one locally made knife, and the sum of ₦21,520.
The suspects and recovered items are in the custody of the troops for further action.
