Troops of Sector 4, Sub-Sector 41, under Operation Enduring Peace have confiscated 38 motorcycles during an enforcement operation against the ban on motorcycle movement in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the operation was conducted at about 6:00 a.m. on Aug. 5 in Gashish Village as part of ongoing efforts to enforce security measures aimed at curbing criminal activities in the area.
During the raid, troops seized a total of 38 motorcycles found in violation of the existing restriction on motorcycle movement.
The confiscated motorcycles were subsequently moved to the Headquarters of Sector 4 for documentation and further necessary action.
The sources said the enforcement exercise forms part of sustained security efforts by Operation Enduring Peace to deny criminal elements the use of motorcycles for movement and attacks in vulnerable communities across Plateau State.
