Troops Launch Clearance Operations, Dismantle Terrorist Hideouts in Niger State

Nigerian Army troops have intensified counterterrorism operations in Niger State, engaging armed insurgents in a fierce battle that led to the destruction of terrorist hideouts and the recovery of multiple motorcycles used for criminal activities.

During the operation, troops launched a sweeping clearance mission across Dakwala and Chikuba forests, known hideouts for terrorists and kidnappers.

The insurgents, unable to withstand the superior firepower of the troops, fled deep into the forest, abandoning their logistics.

A search of the area led to the recovery of 3 motorcycles, a crucial asset used by the terrorists for mobility and hit-and-run attacks. Troops subsequently demolished all terrorist camps and structures in the area, further crippling their operations.
