Troops neutralise armed robber along Mallagum–Kagoro road in Kaura LGA in Kaduna

Troops of Sector 7 under have neutralised one armed robber during a night operation along the Mallagum–Kagoro road in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Security sources said the incident occurred at about 3:00 a.m. on April 3 after troops responded to a distress call reporting an armed robbery operation along the highway.
On arrival at the scene, the troops made contact with the criminals, resulting in a brief exchange of fire during which one suspect was neutralised while others escaped.
Items recovered from the scene include a locally fabricated firearm, one cutlass, one knife, and a mobile phone.
Military authorities said a manhunt has been launched to track down the fleeing suspects and prevent further criminal activities along the axis.
