Troops Neutralize Nine Terrorists in Borno, Recover Weapons

The Nigerian Army troops of Operation Hadin Kai in collaboration with a hybrid force, have neutralized nine insurgents during a raid on an enclave of the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) and Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati Wal-Jihad (JAS) in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.

Intelligence Sources Zagazola Makama that the operation was conducted around 6 a.m. at Iza, on February 17, 2025.

The source said troops engaged the terrorists in a firefight, which lasted for some hours killing nine, while others fled.
