Troops of 1 Division nutrialise 2 bandits in Giwa

The troops of 1 Division have neutralized 2 bandits, during fighting patrols in Giwa Local Government Area of the state.
It was gathered that the troops recorded the feats on Monday June 10, when they conducted the special fighting patrol first to Kerawa village in Igabi LGA, and then projected the same to Doka village, in Giwa LGA where they made contact with the insurgents near a hiding ground.
Security intelligence informed Zagazola Makama that acting on credible intelligence, the troops sighted bandits and engaged the criminals, killing two instantly.
The troops recovered items including 1 Ak47 rifle, five
7.62MM special ammunition and 4 AK 47 magazines in the aftermath of the encounter.
