Troops respond to motorcycle snatching, rescue injured victim in Bokkos Plateau

Troops of Operation Enduring Peace have responded to a motorcycle snatching incident and rescued an injured victim in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Security sources said the incident occurred at about 7:20 p.m. on April 5, 2026, when unidentified gunmen suspected to be locals attacked three locals at Daffo community and snatched their motorcycle.
On receipt of the report, troops deployed in the area swiftly mobilised to the scene.
During the operation, one of the victims, who sustained injuries during the attack, was rescued and evacuated to Alheri Clinic in Daffo for medical attention.
Security operatives said efforts were ongoing to track down the fleeing suspects and recover the stolen motorcycle, while patrols have been intensified to prevent further criminal activities in the area.
