VIDEO: How Devastating Airstrikes Flatten Terrorist Hideouts in Yuwe, Sambisa Forest
By: Zagazola Makama
Footage emerging from the Yuwe axis in the Sambisa Forest shows the devastating impact of precision airstrikes conducted by the Nigerian Air Force component under Operation HADIN KAI in North East of Borno state.
The mission, executed on April 19 at about 5:45 p.m., involved coordinated aerial interdiction by the Phantom Formation in collaboration with the Grey Raptor platform following confirmed intelligence and surveillance reports of active terrorist structures in the area.
Video sequences indicate multiple high-value targets being struck in rapid succession, with terrorist shelters, logistics hubs, and concealed bunkers completely obliterated by precision-guided munitions.
Military sources confirmed that several terrorists were neutralised in the strikes, with their operational infrastructure reduced to rubble within minutes of engagement.
The footage also shows thick plumes of smoke rising from the enclave as secondary explosions suggest the destruction of stored logistics and materials used by the terrorist network.
