Zamfara State Gets N4.8 Billion Boost for Ultra-Modern Motor Park

In a move to revitalize the transportation sector and enhance urban development, Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has approved a whopping N4.8 billion for the construction of a state-of-the-art central motor park in Gusau, the state capital.
The approval was given during the Executive Council Meeting held on Wednesday in Gusau, with the contract awarded to Fieldmark Construction Ltd.
The project is a key component of the state's Urban Renewal Program, aimed at transforming the transport infrastructure and service delivery in the state.
The project will be jointly funded by the Ministry for Local Government and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Tourism, while the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure will oversee its execution.
The Ministry of Works has already designed and developed a comprehensive plan for the project, which has been submitted to the State Bureau of Public Procurement.
The ultra-modern motor park will feature a range of facilities, including offices, a fire station, guest lodges, a clinic, a police station, a warehouse, a POS center, a mechanical center, and a car wash.
This project is expected to significantly enhance the transportation system in Zamfara State, providing a comfortable and convenient hub for commuters and motorists alike.
Governor Lawal's administration has demonstrated its commitment to urban renewal and infrastructure development, and this project is a testament to that commitment.
