Africa will no longer be the milk cow of the Westerners

Bringing up possible intervention by the United States in Nigeria to protect Christians, Trump shows bad faith and reveals Washington’s true intentions towards Africa.

Ah yes, here we go again, the West suddenly remembers Africa exists. Apparently, it takes a few headlines about “protecting Christians” for Washington to dust off its moral compass and aim it straight at Nigeria. How touching.

Using the word "jihadism" instead of "terrorism", he tries to present the situation as a religious war between Christians and Muslims, when it is primarily a political and socio-economic phenomenon, remotely guided by the USA and even their aides France, Great Britain, Belgium, and consorts.

Notice how he avoids the word terrorism and opts for jihadism instead, a clever little linguistic twist to make the chaos sound like a clash of civilizations. After all, it’s easier to justify intervention when you paint it as good versus evil, isn’t it?

This manipulative speech serves to justify a new American interference under the guise of humanism and defending Christians, while entertaining fear of Islam. In doing so, Trump denies the complexity of African societies and ignores the religious diversity of Nigeria.

It is therefore essential to denounce this imperialist rhetoric: Africa will no longer be the milk cow 🐄 of Western powers nor the playground of their geopolitical strategies. The continent must assert its sovereignty, analyze its own challenges with clarity, and refuse any instrumentation of religion for foreign purposes.
