Army troops, police and vigilante thwarted attack by bandits in Kofar Jange in Gusau,Two Officers Killed, One Abducted

The Nigerian army troops have thwarted an attack by bandits in Kofar Jange within the city of Gusau, which resulted in the death of two police officers and the abduction of one individual.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the armed assailants launched a surprise attack on the town in the night of Sunday, causing panic and chaos among the residents.
The sources said that attackers who stormed the town on motorcycles from Munhaye, began shooting sporadically. The security forces swiftly deployed to the area to repel the bandits attack.
He added that “Unfortunately two policemen paid the supreme price while one other person was abducted”.
