Benue woman flees after allegedly killing husband during domestic fight

The Benue State Police Command has launched a manhunt for a woman identified as Salome Tersoo, who allegedly killed her husband during a domestic altercation in Agera Mbaashia, Gaav district of Konshisha Local Government Area.
Sources told Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred in the early hours of July 31, and was reported to the Konshisha Divisional Police Headquarters at about 10:30 a.m. by the victim’s father, Emmanuel Achir.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased, Tersoo Emmanuel, 32, engaged in a physical fight with his wife, Salome. During the scuffle, she reportedly kicked him in the stomach and bit his right hand, leading to his sudden collapse and death,” said the sources.
The suspect fled the scene immediately after the incident and has since remained at large.
Police detectives visited the crime scene, documented evidence, and evacuated the body to God’s Approved Funeral Service mortuary for autopsy and preservation.
The State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) has commenced a full investigation into the case, while efforts are ongoing to track down and arrest the fleeing suspect.
