Boko Haram terrorists fires mortars in IDPs camp in Banki, injured 11 women, children
At least 11 Internally Displaced Persons(IDPs), mostly women and children were fatally injured as gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists, fired three mortars in the border town of Banki in Bama Local Government Area, Zagazola report.
It was gathered that the mortars were rocketed at innocent civilians in a Displaced Persons camp from the outskirt of Banki town.
A Security Intelligence, told Zagazola Makama, a Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad that another bomb was also fired close to the military formation in the town but did not caused any harm after it's exploded.
The loud explosions sent many residents in the camp scampering for safety.
The Military quickly deployed to restore sanity while the wounded victims were evacuated to the hospital for medical attention.
