Kaduna Police Recover Two Fabricated AK-47 Rifles, Arrest Two Suspects

Two suspects have been arrested in Ikara, Kaduna State, for illegal possession of two fabricated AK-47 rifles.
Police sources said that on April 16, 2025, at about 1800hrs, a good Samaritan alerted the police about two individuals in possession of the firearms.
The suspects, identified as Bajo Badun (40), from Bam Quarters, Jos, Plateau State, and Magaji Abdullahi (40), from Bargi Village, Bebeji LGA, Kano State, were promptly arrested by the police.
Upon investigation, the rifles were found to be inscribed with “A/K 4y SMC” and were subsequently recovered. The suspects have provided valuable information to the police, and efforts are underway to apprehend other individuals involved in the incident.
