Kidnapped Israeli Expatriate Rescued in Taraba

Security forces in Taraba State have successfully rescued Mr. Gil Itamar, an Israeli expatriate and staff member of SCC Company, who was abducted by armed men on April 3, 2025.

 

Following his abduction along Takum/Chanchangi Road by six assailants dressed in military uniforms and riding motorcycles, a joint operation comprising military personnel and local hunters was launched. 

 

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the  victim was eventually rescued at about 11:50 p.m. at Kofai Ahmadu, on April 3, 2025. 

 

Mr. Itamar sustained a head injury while in captivity and is currently receiving medical attention at SCC Company’s medical facility. His condition is stable, and he will be debriefed after his recovery to assist security operatives in their efforts to track down the kidnappers.

 

Authorities have assured that operations to apprehend the perpetrators remain ongoing.
