MNJTF Kills Scores of ISWAP terrorist including Habu Mukhtadah, a top Commander 

The Troops of the Multinational Joint Task Force(MNJTF) have killed scores of Islamic State of the West African Province(ISWAP), terrorists including a top Commander Habu Mukhtadah during a fighting clearance operations in the fringes the Lake Chad.

An Intelligence Officer, told Zagazola Makama, A Counter Insurgency Expert in the Lake Chad, that the terrorists were nutrialised at Tumbun Dilla, Tumbum Jamina and Tumbun Rago in the fringes of Kukawa Local Government Area between 27th and 28 May, 2022.

The sources said that the Army's troops of 198 Special Forces and the Chadian Forces of the Multi National Joint Task Force(MNJTF), made its first contact with the terrorists at Tumbum Dilla, and engaged them in a swift battle resulting to the nutrialisation of some of the fighters while others escaped with bullet wounds.

He said that the unrelented troops chased the terrorists toward the axis of Tumbum Jamina, where they killed additional one terrorists who was injured and could not be abled to run as other ran into the river.

He said that during the operational engagement, the Air Task Force of Operation Hadin Kai swiftly deployed the Super Tukano to strike the location.

The precise intelligence led airstrike resulted in the killing of scores of high value fighters and a Unit Commander, whose name was given as Habu Mukhtadah and also known as Alhaji sak" while many more were seriously injured.

The troops further proceeded to Tumbum
Tumbun Rago and Tumbun Fulani and engaged the terrorists in another battle forcing them to retreat and abandoned a 3 year old child who was rescued by own troops.

Unfortunately, we lost one Babagana Modu, member of a Civilian Joint Task Force, who was shot from a distance by an ISWAP terrorists.
