Again, the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai has barbecued several  fighters of Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) in airstrikes on their locations in Timbuktu Triangle, Borno State.

The attacks were carried out under subsidiary Operation Desert Sanity III by the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai on Monday April 15, 2024.

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the air interdiction missions were executed after two hilux vehicles conveying fighters were spotted within the Timbuktu general area.

The aftermath of the strikes later revealed the obliteration of  the vehicles  and the decimation of all the fighters on board.

The renewed vigor and determination of the troops and the synergy between the ground and air forces has been very helpful because it had been yielding the desired positive results,”said the sources.
