Niger National Guards nutrialised 5 Boko Haram, rescue 8 abducted victims

The Nigerien National Guard otherwise known as  Garde Nationale du Niger, have killed five Boko Haram terrorist and rescued 8 abducted victims in Diffa.

 

It was gathered that the Boko Haram terrorists on  November 8,  stormed the village in Maldjori, a village between Garin Wanzam and Kitchandji and kidnapped 8 of the victims, including 7 women and one man

 

An Intelligence Sources told Zagazola Makama, a Countrr Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad that the Defence and Security Forces, more specifically Niger National Guard elements on alert, embarked on a pursuit of the fleeing terrorists. 

 

The sources said that contact was made as the troops engaged the terrorists in a heavy gunbattle which led to the nutrialising of five terrorists while others escaped with bullets wounds and abandoning their victims.

 

"Unfortunately,one of the hostages  died during a cross fire while three members of the National Guard were injured.
