Nigerian Military's Troops repelled Boko Haram/ISWAP attack in Gajiram, killed many

The troops of Operation Hadin Kai have killed an unconfirmed number of Boko Haram/Islamic State of the West Africa Province(ISWAP), when it's repelled an attack in Gajiram, in Nganzai Local Government Area of Borno State, Zagazola Learnt.
It was gathered that the terrorists attacked the the town in a multiple wave on Friday at about at 0117 hourz in a convoy of heavy armed fighters in gun trucks and motorcycles.
An Intelligent Sources told Zagazola Makama, a Counter Insurgency Expert in the Lake Chad and Security Expert, that the Army troops with close air support from Air Task Force inflicted casualties on the terrorists, killing uncomfirmed numbers of them.
The sources said that the insurgents attacked the town from two separate angles; one group were attacking from Magumeri road while the others were attacking from Gubio to Gajiram road.
He said that the attack lasted for morethan one hour, as troops battled to repelled the Boko Haram/ISWAP fighters until the airforce jet came to bolster the offensive by ground troops.
The sources added that the resilient troops repelled the incursion and in the process killed some of the insurgents and wounded several others, forcing them them withdraw.
"Two guntrucks were sighted containing 12 persons, among were seriously injured and some corpses fleeing through the axis of Gambo Yakku, Gubio local government area,"he said.
The Competent Sources said that normalcy has been restored in the general area.
