One killed in armed robbery attack in Suleja

A man has been killed during an armed robbery attack at APC Quarters, Suleja, Niger State.

Sources told Zagazola that the incident happened at about 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday when hoodlums invaded Zainab Tahir Street in the area.

The assailants reportedly attacked residents and carted away some android phones before fleeing the scene.

One of the victims, identified as Haruna Buzu, was hit on the head with a stone during the attack. He was rushed to the General Hospital, Suleja, where he was confirmed dead on arrival.

His remains have since been deposited at the hospital morgue for autopsy.

Items recovered at the scene included a laptop, torchlight, driver’s licence, identity card, ATM card, and phone covers belonging to the victims.

Sources said efforts were ongoing to track down the perpetrators of the attack.
