Police Raids Across FCT Lead to Arrest of 53 Suspects, Recovery of Illicit Drugs

Police operatives from multiple divisions in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), including Kabusa, Karshi, Nyanya, Kubwa, Karu, Byazhin Dawaki, and Bwari, conducted a series of raids on April 15, 2025, targeting known criminal hotspots and uncompleted buildings across their areas of jurisdiction.
Police sources told Zagazola Makama that the operation resulted in the arrest of 53 suspects, with a significant quantity of dried leaves believed to be Indian hemp and other illicit drugs recovered.
The sources added that the arrested suspects are currently in custody, undergoing screening and interrogation.
Those found culpable will be charged to court.
