Security forces arrest Two suspects arrested over banditry in Zamfara

Two suspects, Yusuf Ibrahim and Sani Dahiru, both aged 28 and residents of Kofar Fada village in Kunchin Kalgo district, Tsafe Local Government Area (LGA), have been arrested for involvement in banditry and armed robbery, sources said.
According to sources, the suspects, along with three others still at large, allegedly invaded Ruwan Dukiyaya and Barebari villages on March 11, 2026, around 1:00 p.m., stealing a Bajaj motorcycle, five yards of cloth, and five keypad phones from villagers.
Upon interrogation by the police, the suspects reportedly confessed to their participation in the criminal activities.
The case is currently under preliminary investigation and is expected to be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Gusau for further discreet inquiries.
