Three Killed, One Injured in Shooting Attack by Fulani Bandits at Plateau Smoking Spot

Three young men were killed and a teenage girl injured in a shooting attack by Fulani Bandits at a smoking spot in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area.
Security sources told Zagazola Makama that troops of Sector 4, Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP), responded to reports of sporadic gunfire at about 7:58 p.m. on July 4 around Rantiya community.
On arrival at the scene, the troops discovered the bodies of three male victims who had been shot dead, while a girl sustained gunshot wounds during the attack.
The corpses were evacuated to the General Hospital in Barkin Ladi, while the injured victim was rushed to Damlak Clinic for urgent medical attention.
The sources said troops have launched efforts to track down and apprehend the fleeing assailants responsible for the attack.
Security agencies said investigations into the incident are ongoing as efforts continue to restore calm and prevent further violence in the area.
