Troops arrest suspect, recover six motorcycles in Edo operation

Troops of 322 Artillery Regiment under Operation MESA, in collaboration with local hunters, have arrested a suspected criminal during a cordon-and-search operation in Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State.
Security sources said the operation was conducted at about 9:50 a.m. on April 14 at Daban Sule Fulani settlement in Ekpoma.
According to the sources, the troops carried out the operation based on credible intelligence and successfully apprehended the suspect.
Items recovered from the suspect include six motorcycles believed to be linked to criminal activities.
The sources added that the suspect and recovered motorcycles have been handed over to the Nigeria Police for further investigation and necessary action.
Security agencies have continued operations in the area to curb criminal activities and ensure the safety of residents.
