Troops Clear Terrorists Camps in Taraba

Troops of the 6 Brigade of 3 Div, Thursday, May 8, embarked on a landmark operation across locations in Takum LGA of Taraba State aimed at flushing out all terrorists and other criminals there.

 

The troops spectacularly engaged the terrorists infesting the several communities in the general area in an unprecedented gun battle that resulted in the terrorists fleeing into the surrounding forests.

 

The troops were significantly victorious over the terrorists at Kufai Amadu and Kasuwan Haske in Sati and Yade villages of the LGA, which remarkably reassured the communities about the restoration of total peace and security in no distant future.

 

The fighting terrorists, unable to withstand the superior fire power of the determined troops fled in different directions into the surrounding forests, leaving behind their sundry weapons.

 

Weapons and other sundry items left by the fleeing terrorists including ammunition were recovered.
