Troops of the Nigerian Army Operation HADIN KAI have killed seven suspected Boko Haram terrorists in an ambush operation along the Mayanti Road in Dar El-Jamal, Borno State, security sources confirmed on Wednesday.

Zagazola Makama gathered that the  ambush, which occurred on Tuesday evening, led to the recovery of several bicycles and logistics items used by the terrorists.

However, in what appears to be a retaliatory attack, suspected terrorists stormed Dar El-Jamal resettled village at about 7:30 p.m. on the same day, firing sporadically.

Again, combined team of the army troops, Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), and members of the local Hunter Group swiftly responded and successfully repelled the attack, forcing the terrorists to flee in disarray.
