Troops Rescue Two Kidnap Victims in Nasarawa

Troops of Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS) have rescued two persons abducted by suspected kidnappers in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
Security sources told Zagazola that the rescue operation was carried out on June 10 following reports of kidnapping activities in Abrur community.
According to the sources, troops of Sector 2 of Operation Whirl Stroke, deployed in Awe, swiftly responded to the distress call and launched an operation in the area.
The operation led to the successful rescue of two kidnapped victims from their captors.
The rescued victims were subsequently handed over to the Nigeria Police Force for further action and necessary procedures.
The sources said security agencies remain committed to combating kidnapping and other criminal activities across the state, while urging residents to continue providing timely and credible information to aid ongoing operations.
