Nigerian Air Force Airstrike Neutralizes 15 Bandits in Katsina State

The Air Component of Operation FANSAN YAMMA under the Northwest Operation FARAUTAR MUJIYA, have nutrialised 15 bandits in successful Airstrikes conducted in the Safana Local Government Area of Katsina state.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the damaging Airstrikes were conducted on November 10, 2024, targeting bandit hideouts located northwest of Tsaskiya village.
He said that the NAF air assets launched a precision airstrike on the location, achieving a direct hit and neutralising numerous terrorists.
While several other bandits sustained various degrees of injuries.
He said the air interdiction was part of Operation Fansa Yamma, aimed at dismantling criminal camps at Shamo and Shafi’u.
“The strike, which took place at approximately 1:00 a.m., reportedly neutralized 15 bandits, while several other bandits were observed being taken to a chemist’s shop in Tsaskiya, reportedly owned by an individual identified as Jankare, for treatment,”he said.
