Passengers abducted by suspected kidnappers along Wukari road in Taraba

Suspected armed kidnappers have abducted an unconfirmed number of passengers along the Chinkai–Kente–Wukari road in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State.

 

The incident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 4, according to a report made by Mustapha Jubrin, a Jukun youth leader, to the Taraba State Police Command.

 

Zagazola Makama  gathered that the victims were taken to an unknown location by the abductors, who intercepted their vehicle along the busy route.

 

Security forces were immediately deployed to comb the surrounding bushes and secure the release of the victims.
