Troops Arrest Notorious bandit, rifle recovered in Kware in Sokoto

A suspected notorious bandit, Shehu Hassan of Dangwara village, Kware LGA, has been arrested in Sokoto State, and an AK-47 rifle along with ammunition recovered.
Sources said that the arrest followed credible intelligence that Hassan, believed to be the leader of an armed bandit group terrorizing Kware and Wurno areas, was hiding in the vicinity.
The suspect was tracked and apprehended around 11:00 a.m. on Nov. 24, and security operatives recovered his weapon, an AK-47 rifle, with one magazine containing 25 rounds of live ammunition.
Investigation into the suspect’s activities and network is ongoing.
