Troops Arrest Suspected Kidnapper in Edo Community

Troops of the 4 Brigade have arrested a suspected kidnapper during a security operation at Mango Hausa Quarters in Igo community, Ovia North-East Local Government Area of Edo State.
Military sources said the suspect was apprehended at about 3:03 p.m. on June 17 during a patrol and intelligence-led operation in the area.
Items recovered from the suspect included a mobile phone and the sum of N3,000, among other sundry items.
The suspect and recovered exhibits are currently in military custody for further investigation and necessary action.
Authorities said the arrest is part of ongoing efforts to combat kidnapping and other violent crimes within the state.
