Troops Arrest Suspected Terrorist in Zamfara School Premises

Troops of 1 Brigade have apprehended a suspected terrorist at the Government Science Secondary School in Dansadau, Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Military sources said the suspect was arrested at about 9:20 p.m. on June 19 during a routine security operation in the area.
The suspect, who reportedly claimed to be of Chadian nationality, allegedly gave inconsistent statements regarding his identity and activities, which raised suspicion among the troops.
He was immediately taken into custody for further interrogation and investigation.
